Evans Microcomputer Facility

Evans Microcomputer Facility (EMF) - B3 Evans Hall (Basement)

Group Space

As of Fall 2009, the Evans Microcomputer Facility has been transitioned into open space for laptop use, study hall, and group work. We no longer offer desktop computers in this facility, however our goal is to provide a space that will enhance and encourage student collaborations on the UC Berkeley campus.

The operating hours of this facility are generally M-Th 9AM-6PM, F 9AM-5PM, but please check the hours page for updated information.
Consultant is staffed from M-F 9AM-2PM to assist with wireless printing installation and trouble-shooting.
Airbears Wi-Fi and power outlets are available for laptops.
Wireless printing is available for laptop users (initial software installation necessary - please see staff on duty for assistance).
No reservations necessary! There is an abundance of table space and privacy for individual users as well as group sessions.

Reservations

This lab is available for general use during the Fall and Spring semesters. Reservations are allowed in this facility during the Summer session only.
