Workstation & Microcomputer Facilities

W&MF computer labs are supported by Client Services within the Information Services & Technology department. PC and Macintosh computers are available at several locations around campus for general use and class instruction.

LSMF CLOSED FOR RENNOVATION - SPRING 2012: Life Sciences Microcomputer Facility (2105 VLSB) will be closed until August 2012 for rennovation at the Bio Sciences Library. Please visit the Hours - General Access Labs page to see a list of available computer labs.

EMF Laptop Space Closing Permanently: Group Study Space in EMF (B3 Evans Hall) will be closed as of Winter 2011. The space will be occupied by the Social Science Computing Laboratory beginning Spring 2012.

More computers available in Moffitt Library: The Workstation & Microcomputer Facilities department has received a lot of feedback from clients using our customer service survey. Thanks to your comments, we have put 16 computers back in the Moffitt computer lab. Please continue to send us your comments and feedback!

Printer Donations to UCB Departments - Lottery on Thursday 8/11/11 at 10a: The Workstation & Microcomputer Facilities department received enthusiastic campus participation in our computer donation. Four departments were randomly selected to receive the four printers offered during this donation:

College of Environmental Design
Recreational Sports (FOREC)
Facilities Services IT
